Tea Tree Essential Oil
TeaTree has antibacterial properties and can help support the immune system whilstcleansing negative thoughts
The warm, wet east coast area around New South Wales and Queensland, Australia, provides the perfect growing conditions for Tea Trees, also named Paper Bark Trees. Theses mall trees or shrubs, which at maturity reach an average of 5-7m in height, have a warm, spicy odor when steam-distilled. Out of 300 varieties of Tea Trees, Melaleuca alternifolia produces the most commonly used Tea Tree essential oil in aromatherapy. The name derives from the Australian Aborigines use of Tea Tree leaves to make a herbal tea.
